Casey and Tim’s Intimate Wedding in Thousand Oaks

So you might remember these quirky cuties from a few months back when we did their engagement session? Ya know that really awesome shoot with the dinosaurs in the desert? Yup, thats them! I knew immediately they were my kind of people, so I was stoked to follow up our day playing in the desert with their wedding.

Their wedding was supposed to be back in March, but, yes, that Covid at fault yet again. But let me tell you, Covid has nothing on Casey. She is cool, calm, collected, and a super chill bride. Pandemic? No problem! She quickly rescheduled their wedding to August, cut her guest list immensely and relocated to her parents backyard. In true Casey and Tim fashion the wedding was wonderfully wacky (this should be their catchphrase!) in all the best ways. I have never seen a backyard transform into such a beautiful venue. They even covered the pool to create more space for their special guests. There was something incredibly magical about this backyard wedding- maybe it was the intimate setting or perhaps it was merely the fact that that everyone there was so near and dear- either way it was a splendid day full of love and beautiful people. Congrats my darlings!

Also, I can’t finish without mentioning some fabulous vendors who added greatly to this spectacular day:
