These two were destined for a beach engagement session. We had this really special location chosen, just a little further down the cliffs, but the tide was too high. After a quick team meeting we decided to go to this secluded beach along Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach- a very special place (one of my favorite secret spots!). Parking in Ocean Beach can be quite tricky, but after a quick search we found a spot and ran to begin our session while the lighting was still perfect. Moody skies are one thing you will never hear me complain about- so I was alll about getting there in time! Its like everything fell into place- the location change, parking, the lighting and sky, the empty beach, aaaand this couple. Beach engagement photos are always special, but the moment I started shooting, I fell in love with them. Their love was so contagious and apparent. They were easy- going and so comfortable with each other. Couples like Coleen and Cole make my job effortless. They fit perfectly into each other and then I just shoot away. The shoot was a breeze, climbing through the etched cliffs and caverns and running around in the water, popping champagne and creating new poses while the waves crashed upon them.
Fast forward a few months to a couple weeks ago.. These two beautiful humans just got married!! Shooting their wedding was just as effortless (just like their engagement shoot) and truly magnificent. These two adore each other and are simply gorgeous!
