Kendie & Jeremy’s Spectacular Engagement Session in Glamis, California

Kendie and Jeremy, oh what a lovely pair! Truly made for one another. Some couples really compliment each other and show how opposites attract, yet these two are more similar than different. They have so much in common and support one another fully. It was so evident that they are not only in love, but also the best of friends.

They met on a desert trip (omg! Meant to be!) and are all about adventures and outdoors and exploring- my kind of people! They describe themselves as “desert souls.” So when they reached out and said they wanted to do a desert engagement session I was fully on board. I don’t know if they were more stoked on me as their photographer, or if I was more stoked for this awesome desert adventure with this even more awesome couple.

Let me set the scene a bit. Due to Covid (boo!), we had to wait until June to be able to shoot in at the dunes. Now, June in the desert is hot hot hot! It was around 100 degrees- but oh so, so worth it. Dancing in the dunes, rolling and running and jumping, leaving our footprints- all totally worth the heat. Also, don’t even get me started on these dunes. The way the wind leaves little ripples, the way the dunes feel untouched like fresh snow, the vastness, the colors, the simplicity and elegance- absolutely breathtaking.

The entire shoot was amazing. These two lovebirds were the ideal clients, and the location simply added to the beauty of their relationship captured in this session. We were all on the same page, willing and courageous, and the product turned out beautiful! But I have to add one more thing, a little personal highlight- taking the jeep out into the sand dunes- well that made my Utah-dirt-loving-heart very, very happy. And to top it off some back lighting and bottle of champagne. Cheers to you, Kendie and Jeremy!
