Noemi & Anthony’s Darling Joshua Tree Elopement

Their Love Story

Noemi and Anthony eloped in beautiful Joshua Tree. They met just under a decade ago via a dating site. It’s a good thing that Noemi believes in second chances because on their first date Anthony ate all the cheesecake and fell asleep during the movie. But in truth it wasn’t a second chance at all. During that first date Noemi could see all of the many great qualities in Anthony that her father had instilled in her to look out for. Noemi’s father and Anthony’s mother both passed during the pandemic, and when Anthony’s proposal came it was such a beautiful thing to look forward to. Amongst all the difficulties of losing their parents, here was some much needed happiness and we were elated to begin the planning their future.

Hearing about their losses and then their decision to get married, it really stuck with me. These two really deserve an amazing and remarkable day! And we totally set out to do that for them! We created a truly stunning elopement and they so, so deserved it!!

Noemi and Anthony used our all inclusive elopement package, so we did much of the planning for them. They knew they wanted a Joshua Tree elopement and were going for a simple boho theme and that is exactly what we came up with for them! We didn’t take away anything from the natural simplicity of the desert, but merely enhanced that natural beauty. We had the perfect venue to host this elopement, Little Joshua Tree. It’s just so dang cute- trailer and all!

The Elopement Day

The day began with some wedding prep, with Corrie and Kendie on hair. While they were getting all glammed up, Euflora was pulling out all the stops with florals- ya know all those dried florals and palms which is so dang cool and vibes so well with J Tree! They worked with Tied and Tru, who made the backdrop, to create a beautiful space for the ceremony. And then it all began. Guests arrived, the music flowed, the food (these yummy meat, cheese, and veggie boards) was gobbled up. Rachael went around filming special moments. I went around snapping shots of this gorgeous elopement. It was perfect and effortless and just as it should have been.

A few words from the bride for brides-to-be: Do you! Follow your heart and stay true to yourself. Don’t let anything of anyone take away from YOUR essence on your special day.
