Kelsy & Zack’s Farewell to San Diego Session

desertbornstudios - Crown Point- Couples session_-2_websize.jpg

A few years back, I met these two at a photographers workshop where they were the models. We had a blast and that was that. But then I recently received an email from Kelsy. Asking me, as a San Diego Photographer, to shoot a farewell session. They were planning on leaving San Diego and wanted to create a shoot with all their fondest memories, to capture their time spent here.

San Diego was the start of their love story. They met here, dated, got married, and became fur parents. So when they decided to leave they wanted to bring with them photos of their favorite things. As Kelsy calls it, The Ultimate San Diego Pictures.

So we spent the afternoon at one of their favorite places, La Playa at Mission Bay. We stayed and played all the way until sunset. They rode bikes and rollerbladed, they splashed in the water and explored the boats. All with their little puppy, Moose.

I am so honored to be a San Diego Photographer. I was able to help share this love and this story. Together we created a shoot that represents them and their time here perfectly- nothing fancy, just a typical afternoon in San Diego. One of the (many) reasons that I love my job is because I get to tell people’s stories. And this session was a wonderful story to be told!
