“No one else that I would rather quarantine with” what a sweet sentiment. Scarlett and Jeff bit the bullet and had a Covid wedding and let me tell you, it was perfect! In all this struggle, they created this beautiful afternoon with their nearest and dearest. It was a gorgeous San Diego day and love was in the air. The wedding proceeded without a hiccup. Microweddings often have a much more laid back, casual, relaxed vibe which can be in great contrast to other wedding vibes. All in all, a stunning day that they will always cherish.
I first met these two when I rebranded and needed an energetic, outgoing couple to help me create what I was envisioning. I wanted something along the lines of Cuba, and Havana Nights, complete with moped and attitude. But this isn’t Havana, so we made do with our gorgeous Sunset Cliffs and a scooter. In the end, I was so please that I went with Scarlett and Jeff because they filled the roles and completed my vision perfectly. Plus, Scarlett and I became fast friends as often happens with the clients. Shortly after, she asked me to shoot her wedding… in Hawaii!! To say I was pumped, stoked, and overjoyed would be an understatement. Consequently, you to say I was bummed when the dreaded pandemic caused the dream of Hawaii to be canceled would be an understatement as well. But we braved it all and got to work with this adorable microwedding. Scarlett and Jeff might be some of the chillest people I know and a little pandemic isn’t going to stop them from saying I do. Maybe one day we will get to Hawaii, but for now we’re all just happy we were able to finally get these two down the aisle.
