Tina & Joe’s Sun Drenched Joshua Tree Engagement Session

So, this shoot coincided with my daughter’s birthday. So we decided to make a weekend out of it. I mean, a weekend in Joshua Tree is one of favorite ways to spend time together. Our birthday celebrations began with Tina and Joe’s shoot, to which I dragged along my best friend, husband and my daughter. It was a full house! The weather was beautiful- almost as beautiful as the way Joe looked at Tina. I had SO much fun with them.

It was the perfect start to our weekend. We played with these guys for almost 3 hours and then the birthday festivities began. We climbed rocks, ate cake, and sat around the fire for the next couple days. I had such a special weekend- full of my dream job, my family and the desert! Win! Win! Win!

So a little about Tina and Joe- besides their smiles and big, big love. Tina and Joe first crossed paths while working together at a startup company in the Bay Area. Shortly after, they professed their love (in the back of an Uber). Then came a handsome puppy and then came the proposal. Joe popped the question on Pi Day (kinda nerdy…but that’s how Joe rolls) at the Golden Gate Vista Point. Joe forgot all of his rehearsed lines, but Tina still said yes! Aren’t they just the cutest, guys?
